With a sound that carries a blast of Southern California in 1970 filtered through Northern England Katy Lied emerged in 2008 with their debut album Late Arrival. The title track immediately became a feature of the BBC Radio 2 airwaves propelling the album to national attention. The Katy Lied signature sound of roots & rock, slide & jangle with diverse songwriting and the wonderful lead vocals of Katie Harnett have been wowing critics and audiences alike. Their new album Echo Games written by Duncan Hamilton in collaboration with ex-Storys guitarist Dai Smith, features famed singer-songwriter Thea Gilmore and legendary Grammy winning pedal steel player Al Perkins.
